Green Tea Face Mask

so i have been having trouble with my skin lately and i've been exfoliating and washing my face with acne wash and nothing has REALLY been working.....so i was looking up on the internet and they said green tea was good for your skin, so that got me thinking to look up green tea face masks. I found some recipes but i decided to take bits and parts from other recipes to make it.....so here it is :)

Ingredients:

4 green tea Tea Bags

Lemon juice

Honey

Cornstarch

Flour

Steps:
*MAKE SURE YOU WASH YOUR FACE BEFORE YOU PUT THE MASK ON*

1. boils 1 cup of water, when boiled add to the 4 tea bags, let it stand for about 30mins or until cool, when cool remove tea bags and place to the side (you need them later)

2. pour half of the steeped tea into another bowl

3. added about 3/4-1cup of corn starch and stir.....it will be tough at first but it will mix together, then add 2tbsp of lemon juice (keep stiring) then add 1/2 of honey, mix! then when all mixed add about 1/2 of flour....now the mix will be really paste consistency....slightly pour a little bit of your tea mix in...until its a little smoother

4. now i want you to grab those tea bags you put aside, open 1 of the tea bags and dump it into the mask mix, and stir!

5. when all mixed together place in fridge for about 30mins for it to set :)

6. ok it's been 30mins, take it out and apply to your face.....it's a little tricky to apply but keep smoothing it on your face, trust me it will spread! once on let it sit on there until its dry. Your skin should start to feel tight (thats a good thing, skin firming!)

7.
what about that extra tea left over????? well once your done your face mask and you take it off, take a cotton ball or makeup pad and dip it into the extra tea and wipe it on your face, it drys quite quickly and just give your skin an extra boost!

Extra Note- this recipe makes a few masks so it's great if you have girlfriends over! I tried it out and my skin feels sooooo soft and smooth and tighter, i recommend to give it a try :)

  1. also, I cut out milk 2 months ago and haven't had a pimple since.
it is weird, I can eat cheese, and sour cream etc.. but just no milk.
    Thought that might help too.
xo--- I will try your mask!
